Throughout my career, I have worked with printers and designed graphics for print, including offset lithography, digital and screen printing. I have gained expertise in managing issues related to designing for print, such as resolution, color space, screen angles, calibration, and pre-flighting files.
Process maps
I have drawn several process maps for utility, oil, and technology companies, including Boeing, Microsoft, Tennessee Valley Authority, Bonneville Power Administration, DTE Energy, Transocean, Xcel, BC Hydro, Northeast Utilities, American Electric Power, Nuclear Management Corporation, and APS. These process maps depict human capital and the flow of information in organizations. Senior training, technology, and business managers use them to explain changes in business processes and to train their employees to perform new jobs or tasks.

I have designed many different types of process maps and each map is unique. For example, I created a series of maps for one client that included an overview of how different business units interact with each other and seven separate maps that showed how information flows through each business unit. For another client, I created a map that described how to conduct a direct marketing or e-mail campaign and another map that described how to properly engage prospects prior to a marketing event. A few of my maps are displayed below.
Brochures and product labels
I have designed brochures for several companies offering recreation and tourist services, such as dog sledding and fishing tours. I have also designed product labels for educational cd's and wood products, and postcards and the cover for a catalog for an artists licensing opportunities.
