Mark Winkler

I have been a potter for on and off for over 15 years. I love working with clay and am drawn to the vessel as art. I enjoy making common, everyday objects beautiful as well as functional. I am drawn to the meditative and tactile nature of throwing on the wheel. I am also intrigued by how the process of creating pottery combines all of the ancient elements: earth, air, water, and fire.
